Care and Cleaning Advice

Our airbrush tattoos are designed to last up to 10 days, making them perfect for events, parties, and special occasions. If required, to comply with school uniform guidelines during specific times of the year, we can apply temporary tattoos using the same waterproof airbrush makeup paint we use for face painting – this version is easily removable with soap and water and typically lasts just one day.

For our standard long-lasting airbrush tattoos, expect vibrant results that last between 5-10 days. These temporary tattoos are hypo-allergenic, vegan, and easy to clean when you’re ready to remove them. For the best and most vibrant long-lasting results, please follow these care instructions:

Avoid Smudging:

Do not rub or scratch the tattoo area while it is drying. Any contact can smudge the design.

Drying Time:

Allow your airbrush tattoo to dry completely before touching it or covering it with clothing. This usually takes about just a couple of minutes.

Avoid Oils and Lotions:

Do not apply lotions, oils, or any other skincare products directly onto the tattoo. These products can break down the ink, causing the design to fade more quickly or come off.

Keep it Dry:

Airbrush tattoos can last up to 10 days and occasionally even longer, but their longevity depends on keeping them relatively dry. Showering is fine and most tattoos survive the swimming pool but if you rub, scrub, or spray the tattoo in the shower it is likely to fade or come off.

Gentle Cleansing:

If the area becomes dirty, use a damp cloth and gently pat the area to clean it. Avoid using soaps, as some may cause the tattoo to wear off faster.

Avoid Friction:

Be cautious of clothing rubbing against the tattoo area. Tight clothes, especially around areas like arms and legs, can cause the tattoo to fade or peel prematurely.

Gentle Removal:

When you're ready to remove your long-lasting airbrush tattoo, the process is simple and gentle on your skin. Apply rubbing alcohol or baby oil to a cotton ball or soft cloth, then gently rub the temporary tattoo in circular motions until it dissolves completely. This method ensures easy tattoo removal without skin irritation.

Remove Face Paint and Body Art (Same Day Removal)

Our airbrush face painting and body art made with washable makeup paint removes effortlessly with soap and warm water. Simply wash the painted area with gentle soap and the temporary design will come off completely.

Moisturise After Removal:

When you're ready to remove the airbrush tattoo, use rubbing alcohol or baby oil. Apply it to a cotton ball or soft cloth and gently rub the tattoo until it dissolves.
